Replacing a Differential Pressure Switch
Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Open the electric control box, turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2, and remove the air filter in the middle.
- Remove the pressure tube.
- Remove the screws securing the differential pressure switch using a Phillips insulated torque screwdriver and take out the switch.Figure 10-3 Removing the differential pressure switch
- Remove the screw from the differential pressure switch cover and take out the cable.
- Set the new differential pressure switch to 300 Pa, install a new differential pressure switch by performing Step 5 to Step 3, and then close the front door.
- Power on the unit, tap Start on the home screen of the display module, choose , and check whether Air filter blocked is set to Allow.
- Choose and set Indoor fan to 100%.
- Block almost 100% air volume at the return air side using a plastic foam board or baffle plate, and check whether the Air filter blocked alarm is generated. If the alarm is generated, the differential pressure switch works properly. Then exit the diagnostics mode.
