(Optional) Connecting T/H Sensors
Context
- T/H sensors outside the cabinet are configured to detect the temperatures of cold/hot aisles. They can be flexibly installed on the server cabinet based on site situations. It is recommended that the T/H sensors be deployed near heat sources in the hot aisle, or near places that lack cooling capacity in the cold aisle. Place the T/H sensors on the cabinet adjacent to the smart cooling product without directly facing the exhaust vents of the smart cooling product.
- During installation, reserve cable routes for the T/H sensors.
Procedure
- Connect the T/H sensors outside the cabinet and the T/H sensors at the return air side in series.Figure 4-35 Connecting the T/H sensors

- The T/H sensors should be 1.5 m above the ground (33 U).
- Each smart cooling product supports a maximum of thirteen T/H sensors.
- Set DIP switches of the T/H sensors.Table 4-6 DIP switch settings

- The default T/H sensor address is 1.
- After the addresses are set, power on the device, choose on the home screen of the display module, and set the sensors in the aisles corresponding to the addresses to Enable. Otherwise, the sensors will not work.
