(Optional) Connecting the Air Duct
An air duct needs to be prepared onsite based on site requirements.
Procedure
- Remove the eight M6x16 bolts from both sides of the unit.
- The air duct is secured to the top of the unit using M4x12 bolts, and is secured to both sides of the air duct using M6x25 bolts.Figure 4-15 Securing the air duct (unit: mm)
(1) Maintenance door
If an air duct is used at the air supply side, the maintenance space requirements of devices such as fans must be considered. The maintenance door is shown in (1) of the preceding figure. The recommended dimensions are 520 mm x 1180 mm.
- If the unit is to be secured to the floor, place the bottom of the air duct on the floor and use anchor baffle plates to secure the air duct.
- If the unit is to be secured to the base, it is recommended that you install baffle plates on the base before securing the bottom of the air duct.
