(Optional) Replacing an Electric Heater
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the screen of the display module.
- Turn off the general switch. For a unit that has two power inputs, turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2.
- (Optional) Remove the air damper.
- Remove the fan guard.
- After the electric heater cools down to the normal temperature, cut off the cable tie on the electric heater cable and remove the cable interconnection terminal.
- Remove the four bolts from both ends of the electric heater and take out the electric heater.Figure 10-5 Removing an electric heater
- Install and secure the new electric heater.
- Reinstall the fan guard.
- (Optional) Reinstall the air damper.
- Power on the unit, tap Start on the home screen, choose Maintenance > Startup Wizard, and commission the electric heater to check that it works properly before you exit.
- On the home screen, choose to enter the Performance Maintenance screen and clear the runtime of the electric heater.
