Configuring the BIOS
Before installing the OS, access the BIOS screen, set Support Smmu to Disabled and One Numa Per Socket to Enabled. The procedure is as follows:
- Access the BIOS.
For details, see "Common Operations > Accessing the BIOS" in the Huawei Atlas Server BIOS Parameter Reference (Kunpeng 920 Processor).
- Press ← or → to switch to the Advanced tab, as shown in Figure 1-1.
- Select MISC Config and press Enter.
The MISC Config page is displayed.
- Set Support Smmu to Disabled.
If the server is configured with the Avago SAS3408iMR RAID controller card, set Support Smmu to Disabled.

- Select Memory Config and press Enter.
The Memory Config screen is displayed.

- After the setting is complete, press F10.
The system displays "Save configuration changes and exit?"
- Select Yes and press Enter to save the settings.
The server automatically restarts for the settings to take effect.
