Virtual Console
Function Description
You can use the keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) service to remotely control the desktop of a server on a real-time basis. After the KVM is enabled, you can operate and manage the server by using the mouse, keyboard, and monitor of a local computer (the client used by the user).
On the Virtual Console page, you can view and configure the KVM settings.

Status of the KVM service. |
Port |
Port number for the KVM service. Value: 1 to 65535 Default value: 2198 |
Timeout Period (min) |
Maximum idle time (in minutes) after the last operation (including data read operations on the virtual CD-ROM drive) on the remote console. If no operation is performed within the specified time, the system automatically disconnects from the remote console. Value range: 0 to 480 The value 0 indicates unlimited time. Default value: 60 This parameter cannot be empty. |
Local KVM |
Function for enabling or disabling the local KVM.

Persistent Virtual Keyboard and Mouse |
Function for enabling or disabling persistent keyboard and mouse connections.

OS Auto Lock |
Setting of the OS auto lock. It is disabled by default.
NOTE:
This setting takes effect only after the OS is started. You need to manually exit the BIOS interface before exiting the remote virtual console. |
Lock Mode |
OS lock mode. This option is available only when OS Auto Lock is enabled.

Shortcut Key |
Shortcut key used to lock the OS. You need to set this option when Lock Mode is Custom. The shortcut key can consist of digits 0 to 9, letters a to z, special characters, and function keys. |
Maximum Sessions |
Maximum number of users who are allowed to use the remote console to connect to the server system. This parameter has a fixed value of 2. |
Active Sessions |
Number of users who are concurrently connected to the server by using the remote console. |
