Language Management
Function Description
On the Language Management page, you can install and uninstall language packs and change the language used on the iBMC.
- Only the administrators and the users authorized for common settings can install or uninstall language packs.
- Currently, the iBMC supports only Chinese, English, Japanese, and French.
- Only Japanese and French language packs can be updated and uninstalled.
- The English and Chinese language packs cannot be updated or uninstalled.
- You can update the language packs on the iBMC Settings > Firmware Upgrade page.

- Choose iBMC Settings from the main menu.
- Select Language Management.
The Language Management page is displayed. You can obtain information about the installed language packs from the page displayed.
Installing or Updating a Language Pack
- Obtain the target language pack.
- Update the language pack.
- Log in to the iBMC WebUI.
- Choose iBMC Settings > Firmware Upgrade.
- Select the target language pack from
.
Click Upgrade.
The iBMC starts to update the language pack.
After the language pack is updated, the language pack and its version information will be displayed.
.Uninstalling a Language Pack
- On the Language Management page, locate the language pack to be removed and click
.
A confirmation dialog box will be displayed.
- Click Yes.
If "Operation Successful" is displayed, the language pack is uninstalled.
