Function Description

In the Video Playback area, you can:

Enable or disable the video recording function.
When this function is enabled, iBMC automatically records CPU error videos, shutdown videos, and restart videos.
Play a video file of the server stored on the local PC.
Play a video that was automatically recorded on the server.
Capture a picture during the playback of a video.
- The video file must be in *.rep format.
- The captured picture must be in the *.jpg format.
- After the video recording function is enabled, sensitive service information may be captured during video recording.

In the Screenshot area, you can:

Enable or disable the last crash screen function.
The last crash screen function allows automatic capture of the screenshot of the server screen just before the server is restarted or powered off.

Capture a screenshot of the server desktop in real time.

The last screenshot function is enabled by default. After this function is enabled, sensitive service information may be captured in the screenshot.

Table 3-30 describes the controls in the video playback control window.

Click...	To...
Play button	Play a selected video.
Pause button	Pause a selected video.
Fast Forward button	Fast forward a video at a 1x, 2x, or 4x speed.
Rewind button	Rewind a selected video file at a 1x, 0.5x, or 0.25x speed.
Full Screen button	Maximize the video playback control page. NOTE: When a video is played in full-screen mode, right-click on the screen to open the shortcut menu.
Open button	Open a *.rep video file stored on the local PC.
Cut Screen button	Capture a picture during video playback.
Seek slider	Play a video file from a specified point. (The slider indicates the playback progress.)
Loop button	Loop a video file. This function is available only for local video files.

GUI

Choose Maintenance > Video & Screenshot.

The page shown in Figure 3-30 is displayed.

Procedure

Table 3-31 Video playback operations

Operation	Procedure
Set the video recording function.	Enable or disable the video recording function. Click or and save the settings. : enables video recording. : disables video recording.
Download a Java player.	Click . Click Java Player. Save the file as prompted. The video player is automatically saved to the default directory of the local PC. The video player must be in the .jnlp format. NOTE: The HTML5 player can be directly used. You do not need to download it.
Download a video file.	Click in the CPU Error Video, Shutdown Video, or Restart Video area to download the video file to the default directory of the local PC.
Play a local video file.	Select either of the following players: Start the HTML5 player in the Download Player area. Start the Java player downloaded from the Download Player area. On the video player, click and select the video file from the local PC. Click Open. The video file will be played. (Optional) Adjust the video playback status as required. To fast forward a video at a 1x, 2x, or 4x speed, click . To rewind a video at a 1x, 0.5x, or 0.25x speed, click . To control the playback progress of a video, drag to the left or right. To repeat playback of a video, click . To display the Video Player window in full-screen mode, click .
Play an online video file.	Select either of the following players: Start the HTML5 player in the CPU Error Video, Shutdown Video or Restart Video area. Start the Java player downloaded from the CPU Error Video, Shutdown Video, or Restart Video area. (Optional) Adjust the video playback status as required. To fast forward a video at a 1x, 2x, or 4x speed, click . To rewind a video at a 1x, 0.5x, or 0.25x speed, click . To control the playback progress of a video, drag to the left or right. To display the Video Player window in full-screen mode, click .
Capture a picture during video playback.	Click when a video is played. Save the obtained picture to the client. The picture is saved as a *.jpg file.

Operation	Procedure
Enable or disable the last crash screen function.	Enable or disable the last crash screen function. Click or and save the settings. : enables capturing of the last crash screen. : disables capturing of the last crash screen.
View the last screenshot.	Click a thumbnail in the Screenshot area for a larger image. The system displays a maximum of three thumbnails with their corresponding timestamps.
Capture a screenshot.	Click Capture in the Capture Screenshot area. A confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click Yes. A screenshot of the server desktop is displayed. The time when the screenshot was captured is on the upper left section of the screenshot. NOTE: If you have captured multiple screenshots, only the latest screenshot and capturing time are displayed.
Delete a screenshot.	Click Delete in the Capture Screenshot area. A confirmation dialog box is displayed. Click Yes.
