Objective
To query and set the iBMC IP address of the server.
Test Networking
See the test networking diagram.
Prerequisites
The server is properly powered on.
Procedure
Power on the server, press Delete as prompted to enter the BIOS, and select Advanced screen.
Choose IPMI iBMC Configuration and press Enter.
Choose iBMC Configuration and press Enter.
Choose IP Address under IPv4 configuration and press Enter. You can query or change the IP address of the iBMC management network port.
After the IP address is changed, save the setting and exit. You do not need to restart iBMC.
Expected Result
The iBMC IP address of the server can be queried and changed. The iBMC IP address can be successfully pinged from a PC on the same network segment.
