Out-of-Band Communication Query Exception
Symptom
On the baseboard management controller (BMC), the status of the Ascend AI processor is queried, such as the temperature and power consumption. If the query fails, the log on the device side is as shown in Figure 5-15.
Possible Cause
- The Ascend AI processor fails to query data internally. As a result, the correct result cannot be returned to the MCU.
- The I2C communication line of the BMC is abnormal. In this case, all commands for querying the Ascend AI processor fail.
Solution
To rectify the fault, perform the following steps:
- Check the returned information and locate and rectify the fault based on the returned error code. Table 5-1 describes the returned values.Table 5-1 Error return codes
