Example for Configuring AP Loopback
Networking Requirements
As shown in Figure 3-86, the AC is connected to the aggregation switch in bypass mode. To test connectivity between the AP and Router, configure AP loopback.

Configuration Roadmap
The configuration roadmap is as follows:
- Configure wireless services on the AP. For details, see Example for Configuring Layer 2 Tunnel Forwarding in Bypass Mode.
- Configure AP loopback parameters and start the AP loopback test.
Procedure
- Configure a route to the AP on the Router.
- Choose AP-Ping page is displayed. . The
- Configure AP ping parameters. After the configuration is complete, click Start to start the AP loopback test.
- Verify the configuration.
The test result is displayed after the loopback test is complete. The test result "Success count: 4; Failure count: 0" indicates that the network between the AP and Router is reachable.
