Solution Architecture
Figure 3-1 shows the architecture of FusionCube 1000.
FusionCube 1000 consists of two parts in architecture: FCV and eSight at the central site and hardware devices at the remote sites.
- The central site includes FusionCube 1000 (the FCV management software) and eSight (the device alarm monitoring software). FCV provides the unified management portal to deliver the following functions: unified monitoring view, site management, resource management, application provisioning, and template orchestration.
- The remote site consists of the FusionCube 1000 cabinet. The cabinet is categorized into three models: FusionCube 1000 (8 U), FusionCube 1000 (24 U), and FusionCube 1000 (42 U). The cabinet includes a cabinet, compute nodes, storage nodes, and network nodes.
All models can be shipped and delivered as integrated cabinets or using separate components. In the case of delivery as integrated cabinet, devices in a cabinet have been installed and connected and related preinstallation has been completed before delivery. After the cabinet is sent to the customer's site, network cables and power cables need to be connected. In the case of delivery as separate components, the devices must be installed and connected at the customer's site, followed by the connection of network cables and power cables.
