Installing Microphones
Background
On the multi-functional conference table in the second row, a total of ten microphones need to be installed, one for the leftmost tabletop segment, one for the rightmost tabletop segment, and two for each of the other tabletop segments. The installing method is the same. The following lists an example.
Procedure
- Install a leather cushion on the microphone, as shown in Figure 8-36.
- Place one of the microphones in its installation location on the conference table. Orient the slope plane of the microphone to face the seats, as shown in Figure 8-37.
The slope plane of the microphone is for sound pickup.
- Install another leather cushion on the tabletop under the microphone, as shown in step
in Figure 8-38.
- Install a washer on the microphone and turn the washer clockwise, as shown in step
in Figure 8-38.
Fully tighten the washer to ensure that the microphone sits properly on the tabletop.
- Connect the XLR cable, as shown in step
in Figure 8-38.
