Installing Table Legs and Connecting Frames

Background

Determine the orientation of the center and side table legs based on their labels. Figure 7-3 uses one of the center table legs as an example. The label indicates that this is a center left table leg. Orient the arrow to the displays.

Tear the wrapping paper from the table legs. To prevent damage to the table legs, do not use any sharp object such as a knife during the tear.

Procedure

1. Install center table legs (D-03 and D-04).
   1. Orient the two center table legs (D-03 and D-04) to the displays based on the arrows and differentiate the center left table leg from the center right based on the labels.
   2. Align the two table legs to their corresponding positioning blocks on the table leg positioning member, as indicated by the arrows in Figure 7-4.
   3. Tighten two M6 x 16 hex socket screws to each table leg to secure the table legs, as shown in Figure 7-4.

2. Attach the center connecting frame and connecting rod (D-05 and D-06).
   1. Align the location holes of the center connecting frame and connecting rod with the dowels on the two center table legs, as shown in Figure 7-5.

      The dowels are highlighted by red circles.

   2. Tighten M6 x 16 hex socket screws to secure the center connecting frame and connecting rod, as shown in Figure 7-5.

3. Place the left and right table legs (D-07 and D-08).

   Differentiate the left and right table legs and orient them to the displays as indicated by the labels. Place the left and right table legs on the two sides of the center table leg, as shown in Figure 7-6.

4. Attach the right connecting frame (D-10).
   1. Align the location holes of the right connecting frame with the dowels of the table legs. Place one side of the connecting frame on the center table leg and the other side on the right table leg, as shown in Figure 7-7. The dowels are highlighted by red circles.
   2. Tighten M6 x 16 hex socket screws to join the connecting frame and table legs, as shown in Figure 7-7.

   3. Attach the left connecting frame (D-09) using the same method to attach the right connecting frame.
      Figure 7-8 shows the left and right connecting frame after the attachment.

   4. On the display-oriented side of the connecting frame, tighten four M6 x 16 hex socket screws, as shown in Figure 7-9.
