Installing the Network Switch
Background
Before installing the network switch, verify that its network ports can communicate with each other. Figure 6-24 shows the appearance of the network switch.
Procedure
- Install a switch securing tap on each end of the rear port panel, and tighten one M6 x 16 hex socket screw to secure each end, as shown in Figure 6-25.
- Orient the network switch rear ports to the multi-functional conference table and place the network switch inside the center rack. Tighten one M6 x 16 hex socket screw at each end, as shown in Figure 6-26.
