ada Fails Due to Profiling Initialization Failure
Symptom
Profiling initialization fails when the ada command is executed, as shown in Figure 7-41.
Possible Cause
The log message in the operating environment is shown in Figure 7-42.
According to the log message, the possible cause is as follows:
Before starting ada as a common user, you may have started or stopped the ada process as the root user. As a result, the permission on the directory related to Profiling is changed, and the common user does not have the permission to read the directory.
Solution
Modify the user permission on the related directory and restart the ada process.
Grant related permissions on related directory to the common user as the root user. The HwHiAiUser user is used as an example:
chown HwHiAiUser:HwHiAiUser -R /var/log/npu/profiling
chown HwHiAiUser:HwHiAiUser -R /var/log/npu/conf/profiling
