Batch Configuration Using a Template
You can use SmartKit to quickly configure the Atlas 500 AI edge station in batches.
- For NPU 21.0.4 and later versions, if the password of the admin user is changed through SSH login, SmartKit cannot automatically discover and manage the Atlas 500 AI edge stations. For details about how to change the password, see section "Changing the Initial User Name and Password for the IES" in the Atlas 500 AI Edge Station User Guide. The password must meet the security and similarity requirements.
- For NPU 20.0.0 and earlier versions, SmartKit cannot automatically discover devices. Devices can be discovered only by using IP+SN (serial number) or IP+MAC address.
Data Preparation
- The PC is properly connected to the network of the Atlas 500 AI edge station to be operated.
- You have obtained the SNs or MAC addresses of all Atlas 500 AI edge stations.
- You have planned the IP addresses, subnet masks, and partitions of the Atlas 500 AI edge station NICs
Procedure
- On the SmartKit home page, choose Server > Site Deployment Delivery > More.
- Choose IES Configuration. The wizard page is displayed.
- Click IES Configuration. The IES Config page is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-6.
- Click Download Template to download the Atlas 500 AI edge station configuration template IES_Configxxx to the local PC.
Open the Excel configuration file and read the value description and configuration methods of the configuration items on the Configuration instructions sheet and other sheets.
- Click the Initial Configuration tab and change the initial IP address, user name, and password of the Atlas 500 AI edge station. Table 2-5 lists the parameters. This IP address can be used to log in to the Atlas IES WebUI.
If the IP address has been changed, you can use the IP address to discover devices and configure a new IP address.
