Verifying the Upgrade Performed Using FusionDirector
Verification Procedure
- Enter https://FusionDirector IP address in the address box of the browser and press Enter. The FusionDirector login page is displayed.
- Enter the user name and password to log in to FusionDirector.
- Click Menu, choose Devices > Device List and select Servers or Edge Devices based on the device type.
- View device details.
- For a server, click BMC IP to go to the device details page.
- For an edge device, click the device name to go to the device details page.
- Check the dual backup status.Click Dual Backup and check whether the status is normal. The dual backup status is normal only when the following conditions are met:
- Devices are displayed on both the local and peer ends in the dual backup topology.
- The status of both ends is Normal, and the roles of the local and peer ends are displayed.
- Dual backup enabled is displayed on both ends.
- Check the HA version.
Click Software and check whether the current version is the target version.
Exception Handling
- After the HA is upgraded, log in to FusionDirector. If the dual backup status of the device does not meet the three conditions after the upgrade takes effect, record the fault information and operations you have performed, and contact Huawei technical support.
- If the HA version is not the target version, record the fault information and operations you have performed, and contact Huawei technical support.
