Adding Edge Devices on FusionDirector
- Enter https://FusionDirector IP address in the address box of the browser and press Enter. The FusionDirector login page is displayed.
- Enter the user name and password to log in to the FusionDirector interface.
- Choose . The Edge Devices page is displayed.
- Click Add Device.
- Select the adding mode.Select one of the following modes as required:
- Select Manually Add. The Manually Add page is displayed.
- (Optional) Select a scope. Set this parameter only when the rights- and domain-based management function is used.
- Click the New Devices tab.
- Locate the newly added device, select the device, and click OK to complete the device addition.
- Select Automatically Add. The Auto Adding Mode page is displayed.
- Click Modify. On the page that is displayed, set Auto Adding to
.
- Select the range of the devices to be added.
- If you select Specified Devices, you need to import the list of the devices to be automatically added. For details, see 5.d. Then, the system automatically adds only the devices in the device list.
- If you select All Devices, the system automatically adds all newly discovered devices. The added devices are not added to any scope by default.
- Click OK.
- Import the list of devices to be automatically added. Perform this step only when you select Specified Devices for Device Range.
Click Import, select a scope (optional), and upload the list of devices that can be automatically added. You can click Download to obtain a template of the device list.
- Click Modify. On the page that is displayed, set Auto Adding to
- Select Manually Add. The Manually Add page is displayed.
- After the device is added, you can check the added device in the device list.
