Restarting a VS
Restarting a VS
Context
The physical system (PS) administrator and
VS administrator can restart a VS. The PS administrator can run commands
in the Admin-VS to restart a VS; the VS administrator can restart
a local VS after logging in to the VS.
Only a non-admin-VS can be restarted.
It is not recommended to restart multiple VSs at the same time. Otherwise, the VS configurations may be incorrect.
Before restarting a VS, save configurations on the VS; otherwise, the configurations may get lost.
During the VS restart, all interfaces on the VS are shut down, services are interrupted, and users on the VS are disconnected.
