Installing the Liquid-Cooled Door
- At least four persons are required to move and install the liquid-cooled door to avoid personal injuries
- Before installing the liquid-cooled door, check that the primary loop has been deployed in the equipment room and that the flow, water quality, and water temperature of the primary loop meet the requirements.
- If you need to move the cabinet after the liquid-cooled door is installed, remove the door before moving the cabinet.
- Only one liquid-cooled door can be maintained in the same period of time, and the maintenance time cannot exceed 10 minutes.
- If the liquid-cooled door filled with water needs to be removed, transported, or stored, the ambient temperature cannot be lower than 0°C, or the internal water must be drained and dried first.
Procedure
- Install the air baffle and latches on the rear left side of the cabinet in the sequence of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws that secure the air baffle and latches. See Figure 8-71.
- Install side beams.
If the side beams are installed during the installation of the side doors, skip this step and go to 3.
- Place the side beams on the right side at the rear of the cabinet and align them with the rear of the cabinet.
- Use a screwdriver to tighten screws that secure the side beams, as shown in Figure 8-72.
- Install the side beam stiffener, as shown in Figure 8-73.
- For details about the character installation when the door is placed horizontally, see Installing the Characters.
- Install the liquid-cooled door.
- Stand the door upright from the ground. You are advised to use auxiliary tools to transport it to the rear of the cabinet. At least four persons are required to ensure that it is vertical.
- Raise the door and keep it 30 to 60 degrees from the rear of the cabinet. Insert the four guide pins of the door into the four guide pin holes on the side beam.Figure 8-74 Raising the liquid-cooled doorFigure 8-75 Installing the liquid-cooled door
- Adjust the height of the castors.Use a screwdriver to loosen the three screws on the side of the liquid-cooled door, ensure that the castors are in contact with the ground, and tighten the screws.Figure 8-76 Adjusting the height of the castors
- Connect the ground cable from the liquid-cooled door to the cabinet, as shown in Figure 8-77.
