Container Storage Solution Best Practices of Deploying Kafka Containers on OceanStor Dorado NAS 01
About This Document
Purpose
This document describes the solution of Huawei OceanStor Dorado 6000 + Rancher (RKE) + Huawei CSI plug-in + Kafka. OceanStor Dorado 6000 supports SAN and NAS integration and provides high-performance storage resources for containerized deployment of applications such as Kafka, meeting Kafka's requirements on throughput and latency. This document describes typical configurations of OceanStor Dorado 6000 and the performance test of interconnecting with Kafka containerized applications under the typical configurations, supporting the performance evaluation in the Rancher (RKE) + Huawei CSI plug-in + Kafka scenario.
Intended Audience
This document is intended for:
- Huawei storage technical support engineers
- Technical engineers of Huawei's partners
- IT personnel involved in the development, management, and O&M of the Kubernetes platform and storage
