Incorrect Ethernet Port Property Setting Resulting in Single Station Testing Operation Failures.

Issue Description
To send the single station test files, the routes are configured as IP1-MP1, MP1-IP2, IP2-MP2 and MP2-IP1. The engineer performs self-loop on optical channel, sets the two Ethernet ports on 42ET1 board to 10M full-duplex?one port is connected with SCB Ethernet port, and the other one connected with PC network port. PING the IP address of the NE through the PC network port to see if the data are reachable. This aims to prove that the traffic in the single station concerned is unblocked. Connecting of the single station. But the IP address of the NE could not be pinged through.

Handling Process
When checking the single station services configured by a certain engineer, we found that the traffic flow direction was free from fault. and the VLAN was not configured. In this case, we modified the configuration, set the TAG properties of two Ethernet interfaces as UNTAG, then the problem was solved.
Root Cause
Metro1000 ET1 board supports VLAN, the operation route of Ethernet port data is determined by port number + VLAN number.The port data type: when the packet going through the port includes VLANID, it is called the TAG port, and is called the UNTAG port when it does not includes VLANID. ET1 ports include Ethernet physical port and MP channel port, when one is UNTAG type, we will designate a default VLANID to this port. When one port is of TAG type, it transmits data according to packet VLAN ID. If there? no VLAN ID identifier in the incoming packet, the port will discard this packet.
In a certain Metro project, the Metro1000 was used to form a network. As there was not a testing instrument or meter, in order to check if the single station works normally, it is necessary to test if the Ethernet works normally after the single station test file is sent.
