On 15 Sept 2005, China Unicom (Macau) reported an BITS alarm called \Flash buffer full alarm\ in the BMITU for BITS V3. This is a critical alarm. Although there was no service impact to the equipment, the customer was concerned about this alarm. The customer requested Huawei to solve this problem immediately.
The \Flash buffer full alarm\ is said to be in critical level.
Use a portable computer to connect to the BITS V3 equipment using ftp software. After making sure the the equipment can be connected to the equipment by using a ping test, connect the MITU board with the computer (see the attached file). When the connection is successful, delete the following files from the BMITU:
FREQ*.DAT，MTIE*.DAT，TDEV*.DAT and TIE*.DAT.
Hence, the alarm is cleared.
The flash buffer is full in the MITU card for BTIS V3
