Q: What is TC software and the working principle?
1. TC is installed on PC inside private network, for NAT and FW over private network. First configure one aaa user at SBC for registration of TC to SBC which must enable trvsserver.
2. TC must know about the NAT equipment between the private network that TC locates at and SBC, including whether NAT equipment is configured with address pool or configured to NAT SERVER; at the same time, H323 terminal inside private network must be later than TC in registration to SBC, and it must be under the control of TC. If H323 serves as the callee at private network, SBC will inform TC through trvsserver to forge the address of calling signal and the port for callee in private network, setting up TCP link to SBC for calling. Therefore, NAT contains the entries from the terminal to SBC, and then SBC sets up TCP link to the terminal for calling.
The configuration of software is as follows:
Click Option--> Configure, and enter the setting page of the software.
Server name: the interface address of internal network of Eudemon
User name: the username configured on Eudemon.
Password: the password configured at Eudemon
Nat device type: default
Nat address type: If Nat pool exists, select it, and click add to add the addresses in nat pool to tc. If Nat server is configured, select Easy ip. All the other paremeters use the default value.
