At S8016 and NE40 (2) configure the same downlink network segment with the destination as MA5200. The next-hop address is IP static route of attached MA5200 interface. Impart this static route to OSP. At NE40 check route table and find that NE40 (1) the static route that is learned form NE40 (2) and its cost is 501. It does not choose the route that is learned from S8016 and its cost is 1.
At NE40 (1) use disp ospf lsdb ase command and it is found that the type of two routes is different. One is E type1route from NE40 (2) and another is E type2 route from S8016. It gives priority to E1 external rote according to OSPF priority principle. Change the type of external route of NE40 (2) as E2 and it is normal.
In terms of this case, the priority principle of OSPF route (in decreasing order of priority):
1. intra-area route
2. inter-area route
3. E1 external route
4. E2 external route
The imparted type of external route is different. The priority of E1 external route is higher than that of E2 external route. So all routers give priority to E1 route.
