Topology: test meter--------NE80E_A-------(2GE)------NE80E_B
There are two equal-cost routes from NE80E_A to loopback0 of NE80E_B. Send traffic with test meter to loopback0 of NE80E_B. On GE interface of NE80E_A there is traffic of only one GE interface.
Set up one loopback1 on NE80E_B and send traffic to loopback0 and loopback1. It changes destination IP of five types. And then it can balance load.
There are two cases when NE80E balances load:
1. IP packet forwarding balances load according to the traffic: When forwarding packet, it computes the value with HASH according to five types (protocol type, source IP address and mask, destiantion IP address and mask, source port range and destination port range). According to the value one link is chosen to forward. When five types do not change, the packet will pass the link.
2. IP packet forwarding balances load according to the packet: The router sends the first packet of destination address to the first path, the second packet from the second path.
Execute dis cu NE80E and there is default configuration as follows:
load-balance packet slot 0
load-balance packet slot 1
load-balance packet slot 2
According to the command, it is forwarded packet by packet. There should be traffic on two GE interfaces. Present version does not support load-balance command and load balance way of adjusting IP packet. The default load balance is based on traffic and the system displays load-balance command is invalid.
NE80E-VRP5.10-12002R.02 version, the system is based on traffic under default.
