NE40E connects with A's router. OSPF and MPLS are enabled.
OSPF neighbor can be set up nd they can learn the route of the peer.
LDP neighbor relation can be established on NE40E, but LDP neighbor on A router is not established. MPLS connection fails.
There is no alarm and indication information on NE40E. Check LDP neighbor on A router and it is found that transport address is multicast address.
Configure on the interface of NE40E and A router: mpls ldp transport address interface
It means that local interface address acts as hello address. After the configuration MPLS PEER is built and the traffic can be normally forwarded.
Transport address learnt by A router is not designated interface address but loopback address of NE40E. The handling of two corporations is different.
Transport address is transmission address of link hello and is to build TCP connection with peer.
Under default LSR ID acts as transport address.
Transport address is learnt on NE40E and it is opposite loopback address, but A router learns a multicast address. Both sides cannot learn hello information and LDP PEER cannot be established.
If MPLS is unreachable , check whether transport address can learn loopback address of opposite device.
