Issue Description

If multicast working in Top: PC(Server)-LAN Switch-PC(Client), but when we use Top:  PC(Server)-Router_1-Router_2-PC(Client) client didn’t received any traffic.
      

Alarm Information

No Multicast routing information.
No Video Stream received.

Handling Process

Was found that TTL of multicast stream is 1, so when stream passed Router_R1 TTL reduced to 0 and didn’t send to Router_R2.  In Multicast software TTL was changed to 10, so now when stream it's go out from Router_R1 TTL reduced to 9, When come out Router_R2 reduced to 8 and reached PC(client) - traffic start successfully receiving.

Root Cause

For generation Multicast stream is using very popular software VLS/VLC (Video LAN Server/Video LAN client), configuration was check and it was made according manual, so problem not in configuration also VRP is generic and stable version which is widely used.
      

Suggestions

When using outsourcing software default configuration must be checked usually it must be changed according our requirements and topology.
