There is a problem of accessing NE80/NE40 routers through AUX port. The connection between modems was established normally but unable to login to the router.
I have done the following steps :-
1) connectivity is like the attached diagram.
2) Modem configuration
ATS0=1 //Set automatic answering (ringing once).
AT&D //Ignore DTR signal.
AT&K0 //Disable flow control.
AT&R1 //Ignore RTS signal.
AT&S0 //Force DSR at a higher level.
3) Router configuration
local-user tayyab password simple tayyab
local-user tayyab service-type terminal
local-user tayyab level 3
user-interface aux 0
4) When we connect our client terminal to external modem 1 and dial the number of ecternal modem 2. In this case we connect DB25 port into router AUX port. In this case the connection between modems was not established and we could not proceed any further.
The problem lies in the extention of telephone line connector due to which the modem is not responding to the incomming calls. After checking all the configurations the cables were replaced and checked again then the problem is solved.
According to your log file, that problem is the modem speed and router port speed not match, your didn't set modem speed and missed some command of mode.
