The IDQ1boards are configured to use UBR ATM service between two OSN1500 equipments, The bandwidth is 2M(only one E1 is bound passing through PD1 boards). After the deployment, we use AX40000 instrument to do the maximum traffic flow test, but when the value of the
testing traffic flow is set More than 4490 ATM cells, the instrument can not receive any cells, it means all the testing ATM cells are discarded by IDQ1 boards.
Configure the "enable the Traffic frames discard flag" as disable in ATM traffic management in T2000, Then, IDQ1 boards only discard the ATM cells which exceed
the PCR value.
The bandwidth of IDQ1 can be configured by bounding E1 circuits, one E1 circuit can only support 4490.5 ATM cells, two E1 circuit can support 2*4490.5=8981 ATM
There are two strategies about the ATM traffic flow control, one is when the value of traffic flow exceed the PCR value, all the ATM cells will be discarded, the other is
only discarding the ATM cells which exceed the PCR value, the ATM cells which is urder the PCR value can be transported normally. the IDQ1, using the former
strategy as the default control strategy, so in the default setting, The bandwidth of IDQ1 configured for one E1 circuit, can only transport 4490 ATM cells, when the
traffic flow exceeds 4490 cells,All the cells will be discarded and the service is interrupted.
