FAQ- The Faulty NIC Card of V890 Cause N2000 BMS Server Running Slowly

Can not login in to N2000 BMS Server. BMS Version V200R00B02D061,BMS Watchman HA system.
CPU utilization of Sun Sparc V890 is very high.
1.Checked the process in.mpathd is a daemon for network adapter (NIC) failure detection, recovery, automatic failover and failback 2.Then Stop the watchman process on both ACTIVE server and start the watchman service on secondary node make it force Active and shutdown server have faulty NIC card for the replacement. 3.Replace the NIC card of the Sun-V890 and make the server up make it force STANDBY. 4.After replacing the NIC card of Sun-V890 CPU utilization become normal.
Login into secondary server and open the watchman client found that both the server acting as ACTIVE node. And check the N2000 application found that the N2000 application was running on both the server, Check the logs found that heartbeat timed out.
Check the process which is occupying the more CPU and analyze the process using the following command set. 1.prstat //find out which process occurring the huge CPU or memory resource, and remember the PID. 2. prstat -Lp PID //list all the line process of the PID gcore PID //this command will produce a core file : xxx 3.pstack xxx >xxx.txt Analyze the xxx.txt file.
