A:
Interface slave address cannot be used to allocate address for attached users uner the gateway when AR serials enable DHCP.

Root Cause

After the server receives DHCPDISCOVER, it checks whether there is available address in address segment of master address of gateway interface. Only master address of the interface can be employed.
