The memory of MPU is replaced. When the master MPU is drawn, the slave MPU does not turn to master, but the whole system is reset.
1. The site using NE40 is a new one, and the device is also newly delivered, without any services provided. When the device is reset, the slave MPU works well. So the LPU is confirmed normal.
2. After the device can start up normally, check the configurations, and if the master/slave switchover is enabled.
It is found that the function is disabled; configure the slave switchover enable command, and then perform master/slave switchover test; the result proves normal.
1. It is likely to be problem of slave MPU, so the master/slave switchover fails
2. It is resulted from configurations.
It is a new site, so the configurations are not complete, and the switchover fails. Engineers are suggested to configure slave switchover enable when you deploy NE40.
