When the mpls te is applied, the te tunnel is up checked by using command 'display interface tunnel'. but the traffic is still not forwarding properly. So how can we make sure TE tunnel take effect?
Building te tunnel is following the rule--make-before-break. It means the old te tunnel will be not deleted unless the new one is build.
So the state you see though 'display interface tunnel' may be the state of old te tunnel instead of new te tunnel.
How to make sure TE tunnel take effect? Use the command 'display mpls te tunnel-interface' instead of 'display interface tunnel' . Only 'display mpls te tunnel-interface' can confirm whether the state of te tunnel take effect or not. To insure 'Tunnel State Desc' is as 'the CR-LSP is Up' . 'Oper State'and 'Group Status' are up. Then te tunnel can forward packets properly.
