This problem occurs when the N1EFS4 board is interconnected to the Ethernet board of company L

Issue Description

A client has a set of equipment of company L and the Ethernet board X4IP-V2 that supports the GFP encapsulation. According to the client requirement, the Ethernet board of Huawei should be interconnected to the Ethernet board of company L.

Handling Process

On site, the SSN1EFS4 for the OptiX OSN 1500 is used. The board software is of the mapping version contained in the software package. The configuration is as follows:
Network typology:
Computer--(L X4IP-V2)-STM-1(o)----STM-1(o)-OSN 1500 a--CXL16----CXL16-OSN 1500
For the entire network, the first VC-12 of the first VC-4 is used.
For the Ethernet board of company L, the Ethernet service should be configured as Repeater (bridging), and other configurations are unnecessary.
For the EFS board, revise the J2 byte into "0x00"s of 16 bytes, because the transmitted single byte from the opposite end is valued 0x00.
The parameter configuration of the VCTRUNK GFP is as follows:
? Scrambling is valued X43+1.
? Select NO for FCS.
? Others remain as default values.
When the FPL service is configured, VLAN does not need be differentiated. Directly connect the Ethernet port to the VCTRUNK port.
Then, when the port attribute is set, set the internal and external port as Access, and set PVID as 1. At last, perform ping test at the both sides by using the computer.
