After upgrading the NE5000E on site, use active/standby switchover command but the active and standby MPU cannot switch over. Press the reset key of the board to reset the active MPU, and the switchover can succeed; the configurations can be synchronized, and no abnormal information is prompted.
Slot-17 contains the active MPU, and the slot- 18 contains the standby MPU.

Reset the active MPU, and then upgrade the EPLD; perform active/standby switchover at the time.
According to the logs, it is found that the EPLD is not upgraded before the reset of the router; after the reset, the EPLD of MPU18 is upgraded, but the EPLD of active MPU17 is not upgraded, so both EPLDs of two MPUs are different, failing the active/standby switchover.
In the upgrade, the EPLD at lower version of active MPU has to be compatible with the new upgrade file, but there is no work signals because it is a lower version, and the new upgrade file has an extra function to judge the work signals.
Follow the guide to upgrade the device so as to ensure that the versions of active and standby MPUs are the same.
