Noise is being observed at all service ports of ONU (including all installed frames).
These alarms are observed at T2000 against OI4 card.
and these against SP1D card.
High potential damaged the SCB board due to the higher resistance value of earthing.
Check the E1 ports at all node. ( For e.g., If your network is like MD5500 - Optix2500 - Metro1000 - UA5000 (RSP/PV4/PV8).
Test the E1 from MD5500 to Optix2500 through loopback tests,
Test the E1 from Optix2500 to Metro1000 using Bit Error Testor.
Test the E1 Metro1000 to UA5000 (RSP/PV4/PV8) using loopback test.
Verify that E1 port path is correct and not cross-linked from MDD5500 to UA5000 by removing the standby control card at UA5000 frame and checking the E1 alarms at MD5500.)
If every thing is OK and noise is observed at all ports of ONU, check the grounding value.
If grounding resistance value is higher. Correct the grounging value before performing any other operation because higher potential can damage the equioment agin.
If correction of grounding value would not resolve the problem, Please try replacing the SCB board of Metro1000 SDH unit because it would be damaged due to back potential.
Problem will be resolved for sure!.
Bad grounding resistance value or no grounding exists.
Ensure grounding resistance value under specification in accordance with your equipment, otherwise sensative equipments could be damage.
