I check the history alarm of one OSN1500, the history data from T2000 is complete, but the history data from NE is not complete. There are only the critical alarms, all the other level alarms are not exist.
Please see attachment for detail description.
This is a rule of alarm storage in NE.
When query history alarm from NE, this operation means that query the history alarms from the NE. The history alarms in the NE are just recorded in the SCC board. The SCC board can record at most 1,000 items of alarm. If the record over this limitation ,the old items will be covered.
The cover rules are:
1.The lower level alarm will be covered firstly.
2. If the alarm level is same ,then the earlier record will be covered secondly.
Check this problem, The 1,000 history alarms query from NE are all critical alarms. So all the other level alarms are covered according to rule 1. It doesn't matter when the alarm happened.
When query history alarm from T2000, this operation means that query the history alarm records from the T2000 database,So there is no limit of 1,000. It is depend on the setting of T2000. So the records will not be coverd . If the record over the limitation in T2000, T2000 will dump those alarm records to a text file. The default dump folder is /T2000/server/log.
