The BMS Server reports "Communication with the device failed" alarm for all MA5300 devices from customer network (around 200) within few minutes interval - 10 to 15 minutes.
Communication with the device failed
After some tests, the customer discovered that this problem was caused by a SNMP tool developed and used by customer in the network that was occupying MA5300 resources.
When the tool was running, the MA5300 SNMP process was occupied and stopped to answer to BMS SNMP requests, causing the "Communication with the device failed" alarm.
The SNMP tool was changed and the problem was solved.
If we ping the MA5300 devices we don't have timeouts. Additionaly for all other devices - MA5600 and AMG5000 we don't have this problem.
