Issue Description

What should be noticed when the RADIUS allocates addresses to PPPoX users of the ME60?

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1. The Radius can allocate the specified IP address through the attribute framed-IP-address. In this case, the IP address can belong to a certain address pool of the ME60 or does not belong to any address pool.
2. The Radius can obtain the IP address from the specified address pool through the attribute framed-pool. In this case, the address pool must exist in the system of the ME60. You can specify the detailed section number and the format is Pool_name#SectionNo.
3. When the RADIUS is configured with framed-pool and framed-IP-address, the ME60 receives RADIUS packets with these two attributes. The system, however, first uses the IP address specified by framed-IP-address. That is, the ME60 allocates the IP address specified by framed-IP-address.
For problems related to the address or address pool of the Radius, refer to the cases of the MA5200G. The troubleshooting of the ME60 is the same as the MA5200G.
