what about the command "system handshake" and how can we use it?
This command is used to configure the handshake switch and interval. The handshake process between the device and the BMS is the heartbeat between the device and the BMS to check whether the device connection is normal. When you need to check whether the connectivity between the device and the BMS is normal by using the handshake messages, run this command to turn on the handshake message switch. When this switch is turned on, the handshake interval can be adjusted to an appropriate value. and if the switch is turned off ,we can not adjust the value.
The handshake interval determines the frequency for the handshakes between the device and the BMS. If the interval is too short, and there are many devices to be managed by the BMS, the BMS must process many handshake packets and it will affect the performance in BMS; but if the interval is too long, when the device is disconnected with the BMS, the BMS cannot discover it in time.
so the customer can decide the interval by themselves according the actual condition.
In the command document ,there is a mistake ,that if the command "system handshake" disable, we can not modify the interval value on BMS side and DSLAM side. but in fact , we can modify it on BMS side, just the DSLAM is limited by this command.
