Two main and extension sub rack are connected to gather via cross-connect board and totally there are 15 PQ1 boards. To test the each port, the traffic was created on each port. During test and commissioning T_ALOS and DOWN_E1_AIS alarms of some port appears and disappear.
T_ALOS and Down_E1_AIS appear and disappear frequently.
When we pullout some board the number of alarm would be constant and will not change.
Reverse alarm of some port or suppress them to limit number of current alarm to less than 1000.
In the GSCC the length of alarm buffer is near to 1000. If the number of alarm goes higher than this number the buffer will reset and the alarm will be clear and again GSCC start to report new alarms.
this event is not a GSCC defect. as it is mentioned the alarm buffer has e limited lenght but SCC has two mode for saving the alarm."STOP" and "WRAP". in the STOP mode if the buffer fill , the SCC doesnt reset from the First and it stop to report new alarm. but in the "WARP" mode after the SCC reached to last address of buffer , it start from first and clear the alarm of first address and reporte the NEW alarm.
to have better performance we must limit number of alarm.
we can supress or reverese the alarms. meanwhile it is better to chose "STOP" mode for Saving the alarm in the SCC buffer.
