Reason For the Last Reboot
Is it possible to check the reason for the last reboot?
For example is it possible to check if the last reboot was a system reboot or a reboot made by an operator?
There is no command to check directly the reason for the last MA5600T reboot. But you can analyze the system alarm history, and check what caused the reboot.
If the reboot command is issued by an operator connected to NMS system, you can find the MA5600T "Important Operation From NMS Alarm" in alarm history. This alarm is generated when the NMS delivers the following operations:
-Reset the system.
-Perform the active/standby switchover.
-Prohibit the board.
-Reset the board.
-Load the data.
-Load the program.
-Load the logic files.
-Disable the port.
-Erase the flash.
The MA5600T will also generate an alarm after a user login by telnet or console and will generate an alarm when you have a system failure. The alarm generated time can be analyzed to check if there is the possiblity that the system failure was caused by the user that was logged in.
