It was found following message in NE40 router logs :
%Apr 1 11:37:05 2008 OFFICE-NE40-4 SHELL/6/CLI:'save' from 10.0.67.252 by uzbekov
%Apr 1 11:37:18 2008 OFFICE-NE40-4 VOS/7/Tips:CFM: Uncompress failed, compress level is 2 and errcode is -5.
Flash bus is busy, that caused writing file fail, don't worry it, the writing is a loopback operation,at last , it will success.
So print this message is normal phenomenon, no need to stop it.
From the log we see the problem happened when the engineer implement the save command:
i.e. compress current configuration(text mode) as ZIP mode, then write into flash; failure operation in the process of compress, it will re-execute the operation after decompressing the files, print this alarm when failure.
From the failure code, the save operation is successful at last cause it will save by 3 times Cyc. This failure is the first time. next advance the level of assignment: save success.
So suspect NE40 is too busy when save command implement. confirm CPU Occupancy (usage) statistics:CPU load about 40%.
Then refer to R&D, they said: two reasons can make the router print the message:
1.flash fail, you can try using:disp saved-configuration &dir flash: to check it, if the command success, the flash ok, otherwise, the board need to be changed.
2.flash bus is busy, that caused writing file fail, don't worry it, the writing is a loopback operation,at last , it will success.
