Issue Description

How can smart speed control be achieved for a Cyber café on the NE40E and the NE80E?

Alarm Information

Handling Process

With increasing telecom value-added services, smart speed control for Cyber cafes are widely used. Cyber cafes require that the speed should be controlled on different dates. In this case, differentiated services can be achieved between Cyber cafes.

Typically, the outgoing router of a Cyber café connects to an upstream S8500, and then it connects to the NE40E or the NE80E. The gateway resides on the NE40E or the NE80E. Speed control can be achieved on the NE40E, the NE80E, or the S8500.

Take the NE40E or NE80E for example. The following parameters need to be configured. The speed is required to be 20 Mbit/s from 02:00 to 18:00 on Monday through Friday, and in other periods the speed is 40 Mbit/s.

1、Set the time range to 02:0018:00, workdays.

2、Set two ACLs, which take effect in different periods.

3、Set two traffic classifiers, which match different ACLs.4. Set two speed control behaviors.

4、Associate the traffic classifiers with the behaviors.

5、In subinterface view, apply the traffic policy (which achieves incoming and outgoing speed control in different periods).
