Busy Tones Are Heard Upon Off-hook Because the Terminal Prefix Is Set Incorrectly

Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  82 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
The UA5000 is interconnected with Huawei SOFTX3000 in an office. During a service test, the port on the MG can be UP, the MG can be registered successfully, but the subscriber hears busy tones upon off-hook.
The version of the UA5000 is v100R013B02D098SP03.
The network diagram is as follows: UA5000--- (integrated uplink)----Transmission---------SOFTX3000
Alarm Information
Handling Process
Perform port mirroring on the switch connected to the SOFTX3000. Capture packets on the monitor port. It is found that the UA5000 already reports an off-hook event. The specific packet is as follows:
 ......>. T....*........q .0!/1 [192.168.2 01.42]:2944 T=24 {C=-{N=aln0{OE=4 294967295{200806 09T20024879:stim al/stedsig{sig=o ffHook}}}}}
The MGC returns the following packet in response, prompting an identifier error. Hereby, the process ends.
....K... .I;t..E..Z.#.... .........*.....F ..!/1 [192.168.2 01.12]:2944 P=24 {ER=410{"Incorre ct ident ifier"}}
The signaling analysis shows that the terminal prefix is aln, which does not match the SOFTX3000. Run the tid-format    pstn    prefix  A command to change the terminal prefix to A and restart the MG interface. Subscribers can originate calls normally. By now, the problem is solved.
Root Cause
Since all subscribers connected to two UA5000s encounter the same problem, it can be ruled out that the hardware is faulty. It is suspected that the data configurations on the SOFTX3000 are incorrect.
