The StdCltsiDm Process Fails to Start Because the Configuration File Is Renamed

Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  118 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

On the N2000 BMS, the StdCltsiDm process fails to start. The manual startup of the process also fails with the error prompt "init version selector error".

Alarm Information

Handling Process

The StdCltsiDm process is dependent on the testDm process. Check the testDm process and find that it is in normal state. Other processes are also in normal state. Restart the testDm process and then restart the StdCltsiDm process, and the problem persists. Start the StdCltsiDm process manually in the command line, but the system prompts "init version selector error". Since the StdCltsiDm process needs to read the information of its configuration file during the startup, we doubt that the configuration file is exceptional. Check the $N2000ROOT/server/conf/stdcltsi/main/stdcltsi.cfg file and find that the stdcltsi.cfg file is renamed as stdcltsi.cfg.txt, which causes the failure of the process to identify its configuration file during startup. After the stdcltsi.cfg.txt is renamed as stdcltsi.cfg, the StdCltsiDm process is started properly.

Root Cause

The configuration file of each process is close related to the start of the corresponding process. Do not modify the data in the configuration file to prevent an abnormal start of the process.
