In the command line of the OS, input the isql command isql -Sjydxn2000-a80163 -Usa ?Pxxx, and the system prompts the database login failure.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
1. Reinstall the database with the delivered formal installation CD-ROM, and then check carefully the entered command. However, the problem persists.
2. Check the installation steps according to the operation guide. The database is installed but the problem persists.
3. Check the OS settings. Choose My Computer > Properties > Network Identification > Properties dialog box, and find that the name of the PC in the dialog box is too long, that is, jydxn2000-a80163.
4. Check the corresponding SQL service manager, and find that the server name in it is also jydxn2000-a80163. In fact, during the installation, local PC is selected by default in the PC name setting step. Therefore, after the database is installed and started, it cannot be connected properly.
Change the name of the PC to N2000SERVER, and reinstall the database. The problem is solved.
Root Cause

2. The software of the database is damaged.
3. The steps for installing the database are incorrect.
4. The settings of the OS are incorrect.
When setting the computer name, check and ensure that the length of the local computer name is proper. This prevents the problem that the connection is abnormal after the installation is complete.
