Handling Process

Ensure that either of the active and standby units works normally.  

Root Cause

The following figure shows the scenario in which the active and standby units of client-side 1+1 protection are located in two NEs. When SD or SF occurs on the active and standby units, the NE software cannot manage cross-NE operation and shut down the lasers of the corresponding ports of the active and standby units. Thus the services are interrupted.
